The price includes the following: all dives incl. tank and lead, 11 accomodation/breakfast, halfboard in Greenland, Car (Iceland), fuel will have to be payed extra by the participants. The price does not include the flight. The flight could be arranged via Adventurediver Expedition (price departure Germany to Kulusuk/Greenland app. EUR 1.200,00).
Order of events: Individual flight to Reykjavik/Iceland on 31.8.06, connection flight to Kulusuk/Ammassalik in Greenland on 01.9.06 . Kulusuk/Ammassalik is a town at the eastcoast of Greenland and the center of our diving expedition. The area is only 3 month a year free of ice. Accomodation will be in Hotel Nansen, a well equipped guesthouse with shower and toilet, breakfast inclusive, diner possible. From Ammassalik we will explore the divesites of Kong Oskars Havn, so far untouched by divers. We reach the divesites by boat and dive from land. The cold but very rich of nutrient polar sea provides a variety of fauna and flore - you have just to look at it under the kelp and on the rocks. And of course we want to do as many dives as possible at the icebergs. In the fjorden we will also find birds and seals and, perhaps, we can see some whales. Flight to Reykjavik/Iceland on 8.9.06. There we will have accomodation in the guesthouse Bina, breakfast inclusive. We will dive at Silfra, a tectonic fissure between the european and the american continentalshelf. At the socalled golden circle we have enough time to visit also the Geysir and Gulfoss, an enormous waterfall. We also recommend a swim in the "Blue Lagoon". We fly back from Reykjavik/Iceland on 11.9.06. Minimum participants per tour: 3 Divers subject to alterations. |
